Gemello® roof and wall systems for new build combine intrinsic structural strength with design flexibility. Gemello® systems can be tailored to suit the aesthetic, acoustic, thermal, fire and loading requirements of a building application.
Gemello® systems are self-supporting twin skin systems for roofing and cladding. The external profiles have clean, sharp lines and are available in an extensive range of finishes and colours enabling designers to create modern, visually engaging buildings.
The attractive and durable properties of the Gemello® systems make Gemello® suitable for projects across many market sectors including industrial, retail, office, health, education, leisure and agricultural. The Gemello® systems are ideal for roofing and cladding steel framed buildings and can be fully integrated with both modern and traditional methods of construction.
Gemello® systems consist of profiled steel inner and outer sheet with non-combustible insulation between to provide excellent properties for: Acoustics, Thermal, Structural and Fire. System integrity is backed by the Gemello Warranty.

System Types:
Gemello® roof and wall systems are self-supporting, twin-skin solutions made of profiled steel sheets with glass mineral or rock fibre insulation. Gemello® trapezoidal roof and wall systems include 7 roof, 7 wall and 6 liner profile options with 1000mm cover widths. All roof profiles are Class B non-fragile to ACR[M]001. In addition, 1 sinusoidal wall profiles are available. Systems provide U-values to suit any project down to 0.11W/m2K and will self-span up to 1.8m (non-fragile).
The insulation cavity is formed by an engineered bar and bracket spacer system and filled using non-combustible insulation.
Weatherproof joints in the external skin are formed by sealing the lapped edges using flexible and durable butyl rubber seals. Long term structural integrity of the systems is ensured by the use of stainless steel fasteners with bonded rubber sealing washers. The Gemello® system Warranty is available for the complete Gemello® system.
Roof System:
Gemello’s roof system combines durability with efficiency, featuring a twin-skin design with profiled steel sheets and non-combustible insulation. This system offers exceptional thermal and acoustic performance, along with excellent fire resistance (walls only), making it ideal for various commercial and industrial applications.

Wall System:
Gemello’s wall system provides robust weather protection with its twin-skin construction, combining steel sheets and high-quality non-combustible insulation. It delivers outstanding thermal efficiency, acoustic performance, and fire resistance, ensuring a reliable solution for building facades in diverse sectors.

Profile Types:
The Gemello® system features a range of internal liner and external cladding profiles designed to provide structural integrity, thermal efficiency, and fire resistance (wall only). The liner profiles serve as the internal support layer, while the external profiles offer durability and design flexibility. Available in various lengths, finishes, and coatings, these profiles assist with different construction needs, including industrial, retail, office, and agricultural buildings.

Liner Profiles:
Gemello® liner profiles form the inner layer of the cladding system, providing structural support and a smooth internal surface. Available in multiple configurations, they are made from coated galvanized steel and work in conjunction with insulation to enhance thermal and acoustic performance. These profiles are designed for easy installation and integration with other building elements.
External Profiles:
The external profiles of the Gemello® system offer a protective and visually appealing outer layer. Available in trapezoidal and sinusoidal profiles, they come in a variety of coatings and colours to meet aesthetic and environmental requirements. With high durability and weather resistance, these profiles contribute to the system's overall performance, ensuring long-term reliability for different building applications.

Warranty:
Gemello® Warranty references consist of both the system and external coating warranty periods. i.e. Gemello® 25/30: 25 year system warranty, up to 30 year material coating warranty.

Accessories are the smaller but essential components needed for the long term performance of a system and are supplied as a part of a one-stop-shop.
Rooflights:
Site assembled in-plane GRP rooflight are available in a range of roof profiles, to go over the top of existing rooflight and provide natural daylighting depending on the condition of the existing rooflights.
Gutters:
A complete range of gutters and rainwater goods can be manufactured and supplied to meet the specific requirements of an individual project.
Gutters are fabricated in a variety of materials including aluminium, pre-galvanised steel, pre-coated steel with a PVC finish, and membrane lined gutters, to suit the designer’s needs.
Insulated membrane lined gutters are available for designs where the gutter form part of the insulated building envelope.
Flashings:
Flashings can be manufactured in range of finishes and designs to suit a customer’s design.
Fasteners, Fillers and Sealants:
All fasteners, spacer systems, sealants and profiled fillers are to be supplied by SIG Building Solutions to comply with the warranty.
